Bellies & Bubs Pregnancy Yoga classes are ideal for beginners through to more advanced students and recommended in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters (from 12 weeks). All postures (asana) are adapted to support the varying stages of pregnancy and the ongoing hormonal, structural, and emotional changes, as your baby develops and grows.
This workshop will be a combination of Hatha and slow flow sequences to guide you through your 2nd and 3rd trimesters; with some additional guidance for the 3rd trimester to optimally position your baby through postural alignment and balance; making space within the pelvis for birth, breath, and pelvic floor awareness.
Yoga is both safe and beneficial during the 2nd and 3rd Trimesters of Pregnancy.
As the meaning of Yoga (Union, Yoke) suggests, it is the unity of body, mind and spirit. In pregnancy, this ‘joining’ or union’, the intertwining of mother and baby and the intricate bond and connection that lasts a lifetime; is never more apparent.
Classes are kept small to ensure the benefits and safety for each mum and bub.
Classes run in 4-5 week blocks and due to limited space and course structure, must be pre-booked and prepaid
You will receive automatic email confirmation of your booking, once your online booking and payment is finalised.
Please choose dates carefully as refunds and credits will not be given. Please be aware that due to small class sizes there will be no holds, extensions or make-ups. Missed sessions cannot be made up or carried over into the next Term. *Individual circumstances requiring a Medical Certificate will be considered.
