This series is for the latter 2nd and 3rd trimesters – preparing you for labour and a physiological Birth.
During this 3 or 4 week course, you will be guided through specific postures to align and balance the posterior chain and in particular the pelvic bowl, uterine ligaments, core and ribcage. When the tissues of the pregnant person’s body are balanced, it helps baby navigate the pelvic space during labour, in a more balanced way, in order to achieve a physiological birth.
You will learn soft tissue balancing techniques to create balance, gravity and movement and assist your baby’s journey into and through the pelvis. This combined with active birth skills philosophies and techniques, breath awareness and guided meditations; makes for an empowering labour and birth experience.
Please be aware, this is a progressive class, therefore weekly attendance is recommended. Makeup classes are not an available for this class.
Bookings are essential.
