With some basic birth anatomy, we will explore the importance of pelvic alignment and balance, the important role of your baby to achieve several rotations, flexion and extension, called cardinal movements to navigate the pelvic space.
Through specific yoga positions, pelvic movement and transitions, mindful breath practices and pelvic floor awareness; you will gain a deeper level of understanding of how you can achieve an empowered, physiological birth..
Throughout your practice you will be provided with the additional support of bolsters, blocks and blankets.
Your practice concludes with a beautiful yoga nidra (non sleep deep rest) guided meditation; which fosters calm and relaxation and brings you into a more regulated nervous system.
